"I can convert a large floor tom in a drum?
I've been trying to build a battery with smaller components. I received an 8 "hi-hat and a trap 10, but I can not find a bass drum small enough. Would it be possible to take the legs of a 16 "or 18" floor tom, buffer, and use it as a hype?
Of course you can, but you may have to cut the floor tom down to make it shorter. Some are floor toms longer than wide (sometimes backwards) The drums are usually square, that is: 20×20, 22×22, etc. .. You want to keep that relationship if possible.
