what sort of things do you learn in guitar lessons?

im pretty good at the guitar i can play some good songs like jimmy hendrix little wing and heaps of strumming songs but is it possible to get really good without lessons. My mum said i cant have any because shes too broke apparently i learnt heaps from my uncle but he doesnt live in my town anymore so what do you learn in lessons that i can just look up on the internet?

You want to learn chords and their progressions, the Chromatic Scale as it applies to individual notes and barre chords, and music theory for the guitar. Do not rely upon tablature to take you far in the music world–notation will do that for you.
