Which would be the better guitar?

My niece’s 21st birthday is coming up and she has told my aunt and I two acoustic guitars that she really likes. One is the taylor GC7 and the other is a Martin 000-28EC eric clapton series. My aunt and I know nothing about guitars. The Martin costs a little more but we think that might just be because the whole Eric Clapton signature thing. Anywho, since she’s turning 21 my aunt is prepared to by either one we just don’t know which one would be the better buy. HELP?

Don’t worry about it too much,
they are BOTH great guitars

I have a couple Martins, and Taylors
Tho I think the Taylor plays a little better
